SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
NOTE: We Are Currently Not Accepting Stories
A. Submissions must meet the following criteria:
1. Be your original work.
2. Be a work of fiction.
3. Be typed.
4. If it is e-mailed as an attachment, .doc format (Word) is preferred.
5. Have your name, mailing address and/or e-mail address on it.
6. Have a self-addressed stamped envelope included if you want your material returned. If not, send self addressed stamped envelope for a response if an e-mail address is not provided.
7. Tell Us A Tale is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed or non-returnable material.
B. Material should appeal to readers of all ages.
C. Tell Us A Tale is seeking stories for children, not by children.
D. All accepted material may be used in radio and cd production. We also reserve the right to seek an illustrator and design a print publication of the story. The work may be published elsewhere, but Tell Us A Tale retains rights to also publish the stories.
E. If the work has been published elsewhere in any form, the author must include written confirmation from said publishers granting permission for it to be used by Tell Us A Tale.
F. All material may be altered at the discretion at Tell Us A Tale to make it more audio friendly.
G. Folktales and other traditional adaptations are encouraged.
H. Character driven stories are encouraged.
I. If there is a message, it must be subtly hidden in the action of the story.
J. Payment is twenty-five dollars (US$25) per accepted piece.
K. Payment terms are Net Thirty (30) from the date author is contacted confirming acceptance of said work by Tell Us A Tale.
L. There is no set word length.
M. This is an open deadline.
